Trainer Jo’s Purple Smoothie
Posted by Admin on Feb Tue, 2012 in Recipes | 0 commentsThis rich purple smoothie sounds really gross (who would have thought cabbage) but it ends up quite nice ! ! ! Believe me….. And It’s obviously loaded with antioxidants because the color comes naturally from its nature grown ingredients .
Enjoy my Purple Smoothie
INGREDIENTS
1 cup chopped purple cabbage (25 carb calories)
1 cup purple or red grapes (104 carb calories)
1/2 avocado (161 calories. 15 g fat/ 9 g carbs)
1/2 banana (53 carb calories)
3 packets (or tsp) Truvia or any other stevia sweetener
1 Tbs Powdered superfoods, especially reds, acai berry or greens. I use So Tru
I also added my liquid supplements to my smoothie (probiotics, sea minerals and joint formula)

DIRECTIONS
1- Blend grapes until watery
2- add supplements (if you want)

5- Blend for 2-5 minutes until all the components are completely smooth
6- Add milk as needed to gain the consistency you want. it won’t really affect the color of this purple smoothie
7- Add ice if you’d like:-)
Makes 2 servings. Less than 150 calories each.
